Case Study: Estate Planning for the Busy Person
An alumna and loyal supporter, Sue-Gray Goller is a busy woman. She traveled frequently as vice president and sales director for Commercial Cash Management at Citigroup. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards of directors, including Junior League of Chicago, American Foundation for the Blind and Artsbridge. In 2010 she completed a term as the Alumnae and Alumni Association representative to the Board of Trustees and she is also a class agent for the R-MWC Class of 1973.
No matter how busy she gets, however, Sue-Gray always makes sure to review her estate plans each year. She knows how important it is that her plans are up to date and reflect her current wishes. Because of Sue-Gray's passion for Randolph College, it is important to her that the College be a part of her plans. She has designated Randolph College the beneficiary of her IRA. Gifts such as retirement plan assets, life insurance or a bequest in a will are simple to establish and flexible-you can change your will or beneficiary designations at any time. Sue-Gray is happy knowing the impact her gift will have on the future of the College. Most important, Sue-Gray let the College know of her plans so that we could recognize her generosity and plan for her gift.
We hope you'll consider remembering Randolph College through your estate plans. If you have already included a gift to the College in your estate plans, please contact contact: The Planned Giving Office at plannedgiving@randolphcollege.edu or 434-485-8050.
